Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter, and the sole son one of Richard McCormick. She was raised by her mother, who was an housewife, and her father who worked as a teacher. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three elder brothers. McCormick always enjoyed dancing, singing and performing puppet shows. At the age of six, McCormick older, she was crowned her first prize in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency phoned to ask her if she'd like to go into the show business. Her first major role came in 1964, when she appeared in a television commercial featuring Mattels new Baby Pattaburp doll. The commercial was re-run in 1964, for Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon she was given the lead role in The Wind It Up and It is Broken, a show in the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was selected from among 1500 children who had auditioned to play the eldest of three daughters towheaded in the upcoming TV sitcom The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed as newlyweds with an unintended family. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick's book Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was released in the year 2008. In it she revealed that McCormick nearly lost her virginity on the sets of the show in its fifth season to Barry Williams. At the time, she was 16, and he was 19. She said that it would have been feasible, but we never had the right time to do it.
